A free, interactive movement workshop
A workshop combining explanation and movement. We'll explore how small additions to your day, alongside small changes to movements you already do, can build real capability over time and work through examples together live.
Think about the last normal everyday movement you did today without giving it a second thought.
For most of us, much of our day works like that. We move through familiar patterns, in familiar ways, and rarely think much more about them. I call it our 'autopilot' setting.
That's not a problem on its own, because our bodies are always aiming for efficiency. But over time, your repertoire of movement patterns can start to narrow without you noticing, and the movements you no longer use regulary can start to feel less familiar, less automatic, or harder than they used to be.
This workshop is a chance to look at that shift directly, and start doing something about it, live.
* You're active, but some everyday movements don't feel as automatic as they once did
* You are taking the path of least resistance more regularly, without really deciding to
* You've noticed a movement you used to do without thinking now makes you pause or hesitate
* You're not injured, but a past injury may be affecting how you move today, so you feel more cautious than you used to be
Building capability starts with paying attention to both how you're already moving through your day, and where you could move more or move differently.
How it works
The foundations for building more capability and ease come from two key factors: moving more regularly, and importantly, moving differently in the movement moments already in your day. We'll explore why both of these factors matter and what that can look like in real life.
Working through it live
We'll work through a few practical examples together, so you can experiment and feel the difference for yourself.
Questions
Time at the end to ask anything that's come up for you.
It’s not a workout or a movement 'class'
It’s not about pushing through discomfort to to achieve some 'correct' version of a movement (spoiler alert - that doesn't exist!)
It’s not about being told what you should do
It's about having agency for choosing what can work for your body today and what you could build towards for a more capable future.

Free workshop - live session (recording sent to all registrants)
Around 40 minutes of guided teaching and gentle movement
Time for questions at the end
Camera on or off - your choice (but I always love to see your faces)

👋 I educate and coach everyday movement.
How we move in everyday life shapes how we live, feel, and age. I help people who feel stiff and fearful, or who just want to build a way of moving that's sustainable for life.
I help people move more freely and confidently through small, practical changes to their daily lives that make a big difference.
By signing up, you’ll also receive 'Everyday Moves', the weekly Reclaim Movement newsletter (if you’re not already on the list), where I share a free move of the week, my latest perspectives in the blog and other recommendations and updates.
